Complex Work, Carefully Managed
The project was approximately four to five weeks behind programme when our team was appointed. The key challenge was to recover lost time while maintaining safe working practices and consistent quality.
This predominantly residential development covers approximately 3.6 acres immediately south of Bedford’s historic centre and west of St Paul’s Square.
The scheme consists of five blocks, including one eight-storey tower, two six-storey buildings and two single-storey buildings.
Our team joined the project when it was approximately four to five weeks behind programme. By mobilising a larger specialist workforce and maintaining consistent labour levels, the works were brought back on track and completed on time and within budget.
